He first made an appearance on the scene of music as the lead singer of the band Black Veil Brides. He founded the band and remained its last surviving members. Biersack adopted the stage name Andy Black, claiming fame as a pioneer in a music genre that was comparable to the music of Kiss or Motley Crue.
