Pamela Adlon and Gunn shared the same house in Los Angeles called the Laurel Canyon area after moving to the area. Gunn is well known as the character Skyler White in AMC drama Breaking. Gunn was nominated to win an award called the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in an Drama Series for her performance winning in 2013 and 2014. In August of 2013, she wrote an op-ed piece for The New York Times examining the public dislike directed toward her role as a character.
